Sometimes animals take us humans by surprise. That’s especially true when they’re part of an unlikely pairing such as these. Fred & Dennis – What’s cuter than Fred the Labrador and Dennis the duckling hanging out together? Dennis’s mother was mauled by a fox on Fred’s property, which resulted in the abandoned duckling finding a new best friend in Fred. Manni & Candy – If this picture of Manni, the wild boar piglet, and Candy, the Jack Russell terrier, doesn’t melt your heart, you might have a serious problem! Manni was found extremely malnourished in a field in southwest Germany. Later found by a nearby family, Candy the dog took an immediate liking to him and they enjoy going on adventures together. Milo & Bonedigger – Bonedigger the lion suffers from a metabolic bone diseases that rendered him disabled. Milo the dachshund took a strange liking to the king of the jungle. The 500-pound giant has been best friends with the 11-pound dog for over five years now! Tiger & Her Piglets – If you think all tigers are bloodthirsty, dangerous animals, think again! This Bengal tiger is raising six piglets as her own in a zoo in Thailand! Bea & Wilma – Bea the giraffe and Wilma the ostrich live together in Busch Gardens.
